The Alinco DR-605TQ 2M/440 FM mobile rig quickly became a winner. The EJ-24U CTCSS Encode/Decode is standard in this 'Q' version. You get memory channels to spare; 50 selections plus a CALL channel for each band (100 total). Store odd-splits, cross-band, settings, repeater offsets, CTCSS tones, simplex and even extended receive frequencies (like NOAA weather) in any of the memory channels.

The display can show frequency and memory or you can simplify operations with the DR-605T's 'Channel Only' display. Channel selection is easier for the new operator and a time-saver during emergency operations. Scan the VFO or Memory Channels in ascending or descending order. Choose the scan 'hold' with 'timed' or 'busy frequency' hold. Adjustable 'Time Out' Timer, essential for packet and repeater operations. Choose the maximum amount of time the DR-605TQ will transmit. There is no guesswork! Know at a glance which band is receiving a signal. Glows green on receive and red when you transmit on either band. The DR-605 features a set and forget squelch. There are no squelch knobs to accidentally bump 'open' or too high when adjusting volume. Squelch for each band is set by you and stays at that setting electronically, not mechanically, until you wish to adjust it.
The DR-605TQ comes with a mobile mounting bracket, the EMS-54 Electret Condenser DTMF Hand Mic, DC cord, mounting hardware, mic clip and informative manual.
The original Alinco DR-605T version was the same but did not included the EJ-24U factory installed.
